#2 GOSSIPING
Gossiping.
After many years of cycling and after trying dozens of phone cases, money, and documentation, I can't find the ideal one.
I've been observing what other cyclists carry for months, and I've found all kinds of things. Many don't have a case and keep it directly "naked" in their jersey; others, many more, carry it in a plastic bag ; some have a zip closure, others put an elastic band on it, others carry it in a glasses case ; others, quite a few, also carry specific waterproof bags , but complain that they take up too much space and aren't very functional; others carry it in a sock (I've seen it, I promise), others with a cumbersome mount anchored to some part of the handlebar, others in their tool box , and still others don't even carry their phones on their rides for fear of damaging them, which is totally inadvisable.
Since I needed concrete numbers to analyze a significant sample, I started snooping around online and on the MTB Forum website, and BINGO! I found a thread called "Where do you keep your cell phone?"
From here I was able to extract 403 opinions from cyclists, which yielded significant data. You can see the results in the following table:
As you can see, the results are extremely diverse. There's no specific preference, and the spread is tremendous.
With this data, and after visiting a thousand and one physical stores and a thousand and one websites, I came to the conclusion that a mobile phone case had to be created, but not just any case, but the best mobile phone case for cyclists that exists.
Starting today, I'm starting to search for the best materials and contact textile factories to begin creating the prototype. I hope to be lucky and find professional and friendly people willing to participate in the development of Baggicase.
But all this would be useless without your help and company. COME ON! CONTACT
