#24 Jaime Rosón rocks it
WHAT A START TO THE YEAR FOR JAIME!
TOUR OF CROATIA (April 18-23): Jaime was convinced he could do something big . Just two days before the start , he confessed he was going for the return leg . The two mountain stages featured long, tough climbs , just the way Jaime likes them, the kind of climbs for pure climbers, where kilometers of vertical climbs accumulate and where only the strongest, both physically and mentally, can endure.
In Croatia came his second victory as a professional cyclist and he achieved second place overall behind Vincenzo Nibali , one of the few cyclists in the world capable of winning the Giro , Tour and Vuelta .
The result was second overall, second on the second stage, and first on the fifth stage. You can watch the video of the victory here:
TOUR OF THE BASQUE COUNTRY (April 3-8): In a race in which the climbs are not suited to the characteristics of the rider from Zamora because they are short and explosive, he achieved a creditable 59th place in the general classification, just 1 minute behind cyclists of the caliber of Simon Yates or Luis Henao and 2:48 behind the winner Alejandro Valverde.
COPPI E BARTALI WEEK (March 23-26): First lap of the year and first podium of the year for Jaime in his most outstanding participation as a professional in a stage race.
He finished third overall behind Lilian Calmejane and Toms Skujins.
