#40 We've rocked it!!!

YES, WE HAVE BLOWN IT UP!!

100% of our goal in 45 minutes and 200% in the first 16 hours. We couldn't have imagined it even in our wildest dreams.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU AND THANK YOU

All of this was possible thanks to all of your voters! It was so exciting to see the number of contributions keep increasing; my phone couldn't keep up with all the new contribution notifications :)

We have heard you, you want BAGGICASE to be a new company in the world of cycling, so it will be.

But all this data deserves a thorough and exhaustive analysis . People don't donate money for no reason; they do so because they believe in the project and the product , which is why we must continue to work harder and better.

In addition to the many contributions, we've received a lot of feedback from all of you, and I'd like to highlight two things that have been present in virtually every email:

  1. You love the closeness and transparency with which we carry out the project and the attention we give to each person who contacts us.
  2. You love the product and see it as a solution to your problems when it comes to carrying your phone and belongings safely.

Regardless of where we end up, which hopefully will be very, very far, we guarantee this won't change. Baggicase was born with that philosophy, and nothing will change it: 10/10 service and 10/10 product.

I'd really like to describe to you in person what the first 24 hours of the campaign were like, so here we go:

Everything has been closed for days; in fact, we could have launched the campaign 1 or 2 weeks earlier. Since early this morning, I've been reviewing everything : finished texts , correct photos , working links , and the bright green Kickstarter button asking me to click it now. The message is clear: "PUBLISH YOUR PROJECT," but underneath, a slightly worrying message : "We need to review a couple of things, and then you'll be able to publish your project." A couple of things? What do they mean? Will it be a matter of seconds, or will they have to review something and it will take longer? What if I don't leave at the announced time because of these couple of things? Ugh.

I think I'll start the process around 4:20 p.m. In total, to everyone and in all the publications made so far, which are many, I have announced the start time for 5:00 p.m. , so if those couple of things are a matter of seconds, the campaign will be activated earlier. If it's longer, I hope to launch at 5:00 p.m. as planned.

Well, here we go. I click the bright green button , Kickstarter runs a couple of checks, and boom! Project published! It's 4:25 PM. I hope no one logs in until 5:00 PM, if anyone does, of course, because at that point you think no one will be on the other side of the screen wanting to buy their Baggicase, and your project will be a total failure .

Suddenly, and in a matter of seconds , I start receiving notifications from people who are acquiring their rewards , my phone can't keep up, I stare at the screen, dumbfounded , the counter goes up like crazy , so fast that 45 minutes later KICKSTARTER sends me the following email:

I'M FLIPPING OUT!!! We've already reached our goal ! What a joy! And the contributions keep coming in. I spend the afternoon answering emails and WhatsApp messages . We reached 150% very quickly , and when I go to sleep we're almost at 180% . Well, sleep, to say the least. The afternoon has been super exciting and exhausting , so exciting and exhausting that I can't sleep a wink . When the alarm goes off to go to work, I see that we've reached 200% .

As you can see, it's a super exciting experience: many months of daily work, some days happy with the progress and many others sad because something isn't working out. But always with the conviction that throwing in the towel is not an option .

I know that many of you want to get started and get started in the world of crowdfunding, so I hope my experience will encourage you to continue and achieve it .

Now another challenge begins: reaching as many people as possible so they can learn about Baggicase and purchase it through crowdfunding, as many of you have already done.

We've also sent the news to cycling media and blogs . We've got some very good data from the start of the crowdfunding campaign, and it could be good news for them. If you're a journalist or have contact with a cycling journalist, I've left a link to BAGGICASE's press materials below.

SEE YOU NEXT TIME!
